Raphael Baltes (LAST Bikes) kind of surprised a lot of people with his last edit that dropped a few weeks back. Not many people knew about Raphael so we decided an interview was in order. Check out his thoughts on riding and has last edit below…
How did you get started riding? I started 7 years ago with a very cheap bike , only riding street in my hometown.:D
What keeps you motivated to ride? At first its very nice to hang out with friends and have a good session . Also I wanna learn new tricks to get better and better.
What’s Your Preference? Street, Park, Dirt, DH, Vert, Flat? Park and Dirt
Which do you wish you were better at? On huge dirt jumps
What’s your favorite trick? Every bar/ whip and 360 variation
Where’s your favorite place to ride? 040BmxPark Eindhoven Netherlands
Whats your favorite event? Every big event like the FMB events
Whats been your best moment with your bike so far? Thats a difficult question …. I guess I had so many good moments with and on the bike … To film for my newest video I was for sure a good time

What’s your favorite story from a road trip? I traveled to Australia last year . It was really awesome to ride with all the friendly dudes from the gold coast and get to know them . They have an awesome lifestyle downunder 
What type of music do you ride to? I never listen to music while riding
What do you when you are not riding? Hang out with friends …… and play pool
What’s your day job? Car Mechanic Master
What are your riding plans for the future? To go big at an international contest …. I hope for a win 
What’s the best advice you have ever received? Practice makes perfect
