At the Aptos jam I had a chance to meet Brian Hapgood from Bicycle Fabrications out of San Francisco. BF is a small bike brand that believes that steel is real and makes all of their products by hand in the US. They make a hardtail model called the Back Pocket that a lot of people were checking out at Post Office. A lot of people were pretty stoked on it. Check it and their Pocket Rocket model out below. Back Pocket specs are 70 deg HT angle. 0 BB drop and a 14.5″ chainstay length. MSRP ??? Frames will be made to order so any kind of customization is possible. One very cool feature that Bicycle Fabrications offers is a fixed seat post. So basically the seat tube extends up through the top tube and you never need a seatpost or have to worry about it slipping or twisting. Check out how clean it looks in both pics.
